Port Trust mazdoors rendred idle on account of the breakdown of the ships’ winches, rigging of ships’ derricks, shifting of cranes at the request of the Steamer Agents or Stevedores, cargoes not being ready for shipment, completion of loading and or unloading before the end of the shift, late arrival of vessel/Container at the berth or for any other reason, which is attributable to the vessel/Container and is beyond the control of the workmen.

Rs.10.70 / 0.59 US Dollar per mazdoor per hour for a shift of 8 hours.

Rs.7.10 / 0.354 US Dollar per mazdoor per hour for a shift of 8 hours.

Port Trust mazdoors sent away or not required, after shore work shall have commenced at the start of each shift.
