Sub: Declaration of Ennore Port for unloading / loading of import / export cargo etc. – amendment to Notification – Reg.
Attention is invited to this Custom House P. N. No. 23/99 incorporating Notification No. 3/99, Notification No. 1 / 2001 – Customs (NT) dated 24.01.2001, an amendment to Notifications Nos.62/94 Customs (NT) dated 21.11.1994 and 3/99 dated 08.01.1999 of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi is reproduced below for the information of the trading public and all concerned.

NOTIFICATION NO.1/2001 CUSTOMS (NT) DATED 24.01.2001
In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.62/94 Customs (NT) dated 24.11.1994 namely:-
In the said notification, in the table, against Serial Number 10 relating to the
State of Tamilnadu against item number [2] occurring in Column Number [3] relating to
Ennore, in column in [4], for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
“unloading of imported goods and loading of exported goods or any class of such goods”.
