S.O. (E) - In exercise of the powers
conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central
Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 62/94-Customs
(NT), dated the 21st November, 1994,
namely: -
In the said
notification, in the Table, against serial number 8 relating to the State of Maharashtra,
against item number (2) occurring in column (3) relating to Dharmtar, in column (4), for
the entries, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
“Unloading of
imported goods and loading of export goods or any class of such goods.”.
Note: The principal
notification was published in the Gazette of India vide notification No. 62/94-Customs
(NT), dated the 21st November, 1994 [S.O. 829(E), dated the 21st
November, 1994] and last amended by notification No. 54/2000-Custom (NT), dated the 21st
September, 2000 [S.O. 848(E), dated the 21st September, 2000].
