79/2000-Customs (N.T.)
G.S.R. 929 (E) - In exercise of the power
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in
supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance
(Department of Revenue), No. 28/2000-Customs (N.T.), dated 27th April, 2000, except as
respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (ICD), Tughlakabad, New Delhi to be
Commissioner of Customs (Imports), New Customs House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai for the
purpose of adjudicating the Show Cause Notice issued to the following persons/firms vide
DRI F.No. 50D/60/97-CI, dated the 3rd March, 2000 by the Additional Director General,
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi; namely :-
