Sub: Procedure for export of goods from  Chennai Port through Tuticorin Port - Reg.

        Attention of the trading public / CHAs / exporters is invited to this Custom House Public Notice No.88/2001 dated 16.05.2001.    They may move the containers carrying export cargo to Tuticorin Port BY ROAD also till 31.05.2001 or till the situation at Chennai Port improves, whichever is earlier.  All other conditions and procedures prescribed in Public Notice 81 /2000 dated 10.03.2000 shall be followed.

        The Public Notice No.89/2001 may be treated as withdrawn.
