Restriction of Entry in to EDI – Appraising Hall – Reg.
In order to
ensure that faster processing of bills of entry / shipping bills under EDI
System, it is decided to restrict the entry of CHAs and their representatives
into EDI Appraising Hall. CHAs / their
representatives shall enter the EDI Appraising Hall only for the purpose of
explaining any doubt with reference to query memos and production DEPB Scripts
/ Licence for debiting. They should
produce the query memos / DEPB Scripts / Licences at the entry point to the
Staff posted for this purpose.
Everyone
is requested to co-operate in this matter.
