332/16/2001-TRU, dated 23.10.2001, is reproduced below for the guidance
of the Importers, Clearing Agents and Trading Public.

Notification
No. 110 / 2001-Customs
In
exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 3A of the
Customs Tariff Act, 1975( 51 of 1975), the Central Government, being satisfied
that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, makes the following
further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the
Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue), No. 19/2001-Customs, dated the 1st
March, 2001, namely:-
In the
said notification, in the Table, after S.No. 7 and the entries relating
thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

2. This notification shall come
into force on the 24th day of October, 2001.
Note: The
principal notification 19/2001-Customs dated the 1st March, 2001 was published
in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II Section 3 Sub-Section (i) vide
G.S.R 118 (E) dated the 1st March, 2001 and was last amended by notification
53/2001-Customs dated the 11th May 2001 which was published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II Section 3 Sub-section(i) vide G.S.R 352
(E) dated the 11th May 2001.
