            Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi, Notification No.81/2001-Cus vide F.No.354/126/2001-TRU dated 20.07.2001, is reproduced below for the guidance of the importers, clearing agents and trading public.

Notification No. 81/2001-Customs

 

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely:-

 

In the Table annexed to said notification, against S. No. 15, in column (3), in the Explanation, for the word and figure "August, 2001", the word and figure "August, 2002" shall be substituted.

 

Note:- The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide notification No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996 [ G.S.R. 291 (E), dated the 23rd July, 1996 ] and was last amended by notification No. 33/2001-Customs, dated the 29th March, 2001 [ G.S.R. 223 (E), dated the 29th March, 2001]
