Notification No. 77/2001-Customs
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central
Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to
do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.
7/2001-Customs, dated the 27th January, 2001, namely:-
In
para 2 of the said notification, for the words and figures "31st day of
July, 2001", the words and figures "31st day of March, 2002"
shall be substituted.
Note:- The principal notification was published in
the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide notification No. 7/2001-Customs,
dated the 27th January, 2001 [ G.S.R.38(E), dated the 27th January, 2001].
