of the Importers, Clearing Agents and Trading Public.

Notification No. 119/ 2001-Customs
G.S.R. (E). In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the
Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest
so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of
the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.
17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001, namely:-
In
the said notification, -
(a) in the Table, after S.No. 34 and
the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(b) |
in the Annexure, in Condition no.1, for the words

Committee in the Directorate General of Foreign Trade" shall be
substituted. |
Note:- The principal notification was published in
the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide notification No.
17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001 [G.S.R.116 (E), dated the 1st March,
2001] and was last amended by notification No. 117/2001-Customs, dated the 13th
November, 2001 [G.S.R. 847(E), dated the 13th November, 2001].
