NOTIFICATION NO.122/2001-CUSTOMS
G.S.R.874 (E):-In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the
Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest
so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of
the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below in the corresponding
manner as specified in column (3) of the said
Table, namely:-

In condition (iv) of each of the
notifications mentioned in column (2) of this Table, against S.Nos, (1), (2),
(3), (4), (5), and (6), in condition (iv), for the words “Bhilwara and
Pondicherry”, the words “Bhilwara, Pondicherry”, the words “Bhilwara,
Pondicherry and Garchi Harsaru”, shall be substituted. In each of the notifications
mentioned in column (2) of this Table against S.Nos.(7), (8) and (9), in
opening paragraph, in condition (iv), for the words “Bhilwara and
Pondicherry”, the wordss “Bhilwara, Pondicherry and Garhi Harsaru”, shall be
substituted. In the notification mentioned in
Column (2) of this Table against S.No. (10), in condition (viii) for the
words “Bhilwara and Pandicherry and Garhi Harsaru”, shall be substituted; In the notification mentioned in
Column(2) of this Table against Sr. No.(11), in condition (4) for the words
“Bhilwara and Pondicherry”, the words “Bhilwara, Pondicherry and Garhi
Harsaru”, shall be substituted; |
Note:- The principal notification
No.79/95-Customs dated, the 31st March, 1995 was published in the
Gazette of India, Extra-ordinary vide GSR 301 (E), dated the 31st
March,1995 and was lastly amended by notification No.30/2001-Customs, vide GSR
