REGISTRATION IN EDI

To implement EDI based clearances it is necessary to create database of all the importers, exporters and CHAs. They are requested to submit information in the following forms to the Systems Unit, Custom House, 33 Rajaji Salai, Chennai-600001 under an acknowledgement. Non-submission of information or submission of inaccurate information may entail delay in clearance of goods when the system goes on-line.
