APPRAISING GROUPS IN CHENNAI CUSTOM HOUSE

The Appraising Groups are divided on the basis of Customs Tariff Chapter Heading. Each Group is headed by a Deputy Commissioner/Asst. Commissioner. Appraising Officers assist the DC/AC in asessment of Bills Of entry.
