Sub:     Changes effected to Scheme Codes – Amendment to Public Notice No. 85/2001 dated 01.05.2001 – reg

            Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Custom House Agents and all others concerned is invited to Para 4 of Public Notice No. 85/2001 dated 01.05.2001 regarding assessment of imports against Duty Entitlement Pass Book  (DEPB) under Notification No. 034/97 dated 07.04.97.

            For DEPB Bills of Entry, the Scheme code has been changed from ‘B’ to ‘06’.  Henceforth, while claiming exemption under DEPB, ‘06’ shall be entered in column 1 of Sl. No. 21A of Annexure-I to PN 210/98 dated 08.12.1998 (as amended).
