Sub: Seal verification of Containers at Bharathi Docks by Preventive Officers.

            It is observed that containers landing at Bharathi Docks are being examined by Appraising Staff without the Load Port Seals of the container being verified by Preventive Staff.

 

            It is directed that henceforth the container seals at Bharathi Docks will be verified by Preventive Officers before examination by the Appraisers.

 

            All Steamer Agents/CHAs’ are directed to approach the Preventive Officers posted at Container Cell for the above services of seal verification.
