In exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of
1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the
public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (
Department of Revenue), No.17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March,
2001, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No
34, in column( 4), for the figures "75%", the figures "65%"
shall be substituted.
Note: The principal notification was published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide G.S.R 116 (E) dated the 1st March, 2001
and was last amended by notification No 109/2001-Customs dated the 23rd
October, 2001 [ G.S.R 795 (E) dated the 23rd October, 2001]
